A 160° vertical lens frames a visitor from head to feet, so you see the parcel on the step as well as the face. PIR and radar detection cut down on false alerts from passing cars, and video is written to the doorbell card or to the Preventive chime with a card inside - no subscription to keep recordings.

Four months is about right with normal traffic, and the app warns you a week before it gives up.
I reused the existing doorbell transformer and skipped the battery altogether. Two wires and it was live.
No. Video stays on the local recorder or SD card first; the cloud option is optional.
The V2 fits standard doorbell wiring. The dual-cam model needs a wider bracket, which is included in the box.
The chime is adjustable across three levels. The default is loud enough for a full house without being shrill.
On battery models the final session is buffered to the card before the battery drops; on wired models power is continuous.
